The Following is an important message from The Builders Club General Manager with an update on our renovation and potential opening date.
I trust you are all staying healthy and you miss us as much as we miss seeing all of you.
As no doubt you are all aware, a lot of Clubs have reopened this past fortnight with a lot of restrictions being imposed on them, however as you can see by our posts, we have been extremely busy building you a new Club and currently we are not in a position to reopen just yet.
When we were forced to close on 23 March 2020 there was a lot of uncertainty across all industries and not just ours. One industry that was of great concern for us was the building industry, as we were in the midst (and still are) of a major renovation. We were very hopeful that the building industry would not be majorly impacted and therefore made the decision to go full steam ahead with our renovations.
This forced closure caused our renovation staging program to be completely flipped on its head, due the fact that the program was designed with the Club still trading and the emphasis placed on causing as little disruption to our patrons as could possibility be achieved. Continuing to build whilst the Club has been closed has enabled us to fast track our completion date by three months and now we have an estimated completion date being end of September.
I am delighted to inform you that we anticipate to re-open the Club on Tuesday 4 August and are very hopeful that many of the restrictions that are currently imposed on Clubs will be eased by this date. On re-opening please be assured that the health and safety of all our staff and patrons will be our number 1 ongoing priority. We will have in place stricter hygiene and cleaning procedures.
